Khong Guan Group Indonesia launches Biscuits House at KidZania Jakarta, an educational attraction aiming to teach children how to make and decorate biscuits. Officially opened on May 15, the attraction intends to enhance children’s independence and precision. Managing Director of Khong Guan, Kataline Darmono, states that the presence of Khong Guan Biscuits House at KidZania Jakarta aims to provide education that fosters children’s independence and precision. This also introduces them to the biscuit-making tradition that has long been part of Indonesia’s food culture during holidays or special occasions. Desy Wijayanti, Head of Marketing at Khong Guan Group, adds that Khong Guan aims to connect with children and youth, introducing them to their biscuit products, especially those designed for children and teenagers. At Khong Guan Biscuits House KidZania, children play the role of biscuit makers for 20 minutes. Each session involves six children responsible for production, icing, packaging, and quality control of the biscuits they create. At the end of the activity, they also receive a salary of 10 KidZos as a reward for their work.
