Khong Guan Peduli Extends Support to Underprivileged Families in Sewan, Tangerang
Through its Khong Guan Peduli CSR initiative, Khong Guan Group partnered with St. Agnes 1 Community of St. Yakobus Church, Kelapa Gading Parish, to provide care packages for underprivileged Chinese Indonesian families in Sewan, Tangerang, as part of its commitment to giving back to the community.
Tangerang, July 8, 2026 — Through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Khong Guan Peduli, Khong Guan Group took part in a community outreach program supporting underprivileged Chinese Indonesian (Cina Benteng) families in Sewan, Tangerang, on Wednesday (July 8).
In collaboration with the members of St. Agnes 1 Community, St. Yakobus Church, Kelapa Gading Parish, Khong Guan Group distributed care packages to beneficiary families at Amurva Bhumi Bhodisattva Temple, Sewan. The initiative reflected the company's commitment to supporting communities in need while fostering a spirit of compassion, togetherness, and mutual care.
The program is part of Khong Guan Peduli's ongoing commitment to creating a positive social impact through meaningful initiatives that strengthen community bonds and encourage a culture of giving.
Tenne Gunawan, Marketing Manager of Khong Guan, emphasized that Khong Guan Peduli will continue to support initiatives that bring tangible benefits to society.
"Through Khong Guan Peduli, we strive to grow alongside the communities we serve by sharing kindness and care. We hope this contribution provides meaningful support to the recipient families while bringing warmth and strengthening the spirit of togetherness within the Sewan community," said Tenne.
The distribution took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Yovita Ayu Larasati, Public Relations of Khong Guan Group, also joined the activity by personally handing over the care packages to the beneficiary families.
Reflecting on the experience, Yovita shared that being present on-site served as a meaningful reminder that even simple acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
